I'm sick.  AGAIN.  That's after ending last year with food poisoning and getting a cold and ......

I need to get better and STAY better.  Right now I've got a tummy bug that appears to be quite happy to just move in and stay.  I'm doing better - for now - but I'm still not really eating solid food.

To add to the fun, my hubby has a kidney stone.

Please, please, good thoughts, prayers, whatnot - that we can all get well and STAY WELL for a while.  Because our reserves are SHOT.

Strong mint and oolong tea sweetened with ample honey, some chicken soup and lots of rest for you!

Hopefully by now you're feeling a mite better.  Has hubs seen the doc regarding the stone?  Tim and I are about $90k in debt over our stones.  (I had insurance- mine is about $60k.  Tim didn't- his is about $30k.  Go figure.)  Make sure he's drinking about half a gallon of water minimum a day, and three litres is better.  And if he hasn't seen a doctor, get him in asap.  Without a KUB you can't tell where the stone is, what sort of stone it is or whether it is passable or not.  If it isn't, a run of antibiotics and then removal is mandatory.  Tim nearly lost his right kidney (or his life) because they dawdled about everything so much due to no insurance.

You've been on my worry list since I saw this, btw.  Get better, you.

I'm up to chicken fried rice, and it seems to be sitting pretty well.  So - seem to be on the climb out.  Now teaching body to EAT again. *sigh*.

As far as hubby, yes, we went to the doc.  It was actually the same day we took him to the doc - that I got sick.  poor hubby!  HE needed taking care of, and there was me, sick as hell.  Unfortunately, he's very prone to kidney stones.

But we're slowly getting better.  As long as nothing ELSE happens .... *sigh*
