In the 1980s, Mike Nichols wrote (and regularly updated) a wonderful series of articles on the eight major holidays in the Wiccan (and generally the Pagan) year. The set we have here was written in 1988, but only the dates given as examples are out of date. While these articles give a great deal of history and background, please remember that they represent the view of single person. Different people, let alone different Pagan religions or Wiccan traditions, often have a different point of view.
