submitted by LyricFox Ingredients 1 prepared graham cracker crust (I’ve used the chocolate crust from Keebler and Oreo, too.) Filling:
2 C fat-free milk, divided Procedures 1. Combine 1/2 C milk, 2/3 C sugar, and next 4 ingredients (2/3 C sugar through egg) in a large bowl and whisk together well. 2. Heat 1-1/2 C milk in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat until tiny bubbles form around edge (do not boil). 3. Remove from heat. Gradually add hot milk to sugar mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk. 4. Return milk mixture to pan. Add chopped chocolate; cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly stirring constantly. 5. Reduce heat to low; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. 6. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. 7. Pour into prepared crust; cover surface of filling with plastic wrap. 8. Chill 3 hours or until cold. 9. Remove plastic wrap; spread whipped topping evenly over filling. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. |
