to Keep The Cauldron's Server Online

The Cauldron's message board lost its free server (to old age) in October 2008. We have a shiny new virtual private server with a well-respected VPS hosting company. Our new server seems faster -- and definitely has faster connections to the Internet. Unfortunately, it is not free. We need at least US$70 a month in donations or the server will disappear because we cannot pay the server bill. At one time, the Hosts would have simply funded this themselves, but our cancer-related medical bills leave us with no money, so The Cauldron has to depend on your donations to remain available.

Two different donation options are described below:

OPTION 1:
Make An "Anonymous" Donation in Any Amount
If you are not a member of the message board  -- or are a member but do not want a donor button to appear on your posts or wish to donate a non-standard amount, you can make an "anonymous" donation (which will not appear on your posts) in any amount via the Paypal button below. You do NOT need a Paypal account to donate. After Paypal fees, we get 85% to 90% of the money you donate.


OPTION 2:
Logged in? Donate Through Your Profile:
Bronze/Silver/Gold Donor Levels and Benefits
If you are logged into the message board, you can make a donation (via Paid Subscriptions in your Profile) at the Bronze Donor (US$5.00), Silver Donor (US$10.00) or Gold Donor (US$15.00) level and get a special button that will appear on your posts as well have access to our Donor only areas (and more for Silver and Gold Donors, see this post for information). These special benefits will last for one month and can be renewed by extending your subscription. You can find the "Paid Subscription" link in the "Manage Profile" menu on your profile. Payments are made via Paypal but you do not need a Paypal account to donate.
