No Devo, neither. It didn't tip my radar, either, it's more of a "oh, it's about time" kinda thing.
Whew! lol. So long as I wasn't the only one.

What are your goals for Autumn/Spring 2009?  Share them here.

Good Luck!  Smiley
Thanks, I need it!  Nothing like waiting till the last minute.... Roll Eyes   Grin

Practical Things:
 1. Clean and reorganize my bedroom-by October 15th.
-Eliminate 'stuff' I no longer need/wear, donate where applicable.
-Rearrange furniture so that plant stand will be under the west-facing window(most natural light).  This needs done by Oct. 1st.

 2. Decrease total book stacks by 20%(at least), I have more coming in than going out-by Nov. 1st.
-more books to trade in at the used bookstore!   Grin

 3. Renew recycling efforts(need winter hours schedule)starting this Saturday, at least twice a month.-Ongoing.

Personal Fitness:
 1. Walk 5 days a week, at least 45 minutes total each day.-Ongoing.
-I'll need to find someplace to walk indoors, or suck it up and walk in the snow and cold.

 2. Set up a 'consistent' strength training schedule of 3 times a week.-Ongoing.

Spiritual:
 1. Renew daily devotional practice-I really missed doing this.-Ongoing.

 2. Restart meditation practice/learning at least 4 times a week-Ongoing.
-I've been kind of hit and miss with this.  Not making progress.

 3. Begin journaling again in my paper and online journals, at least 4 times a week.-Ongoing
    - edit lj blog and learn how to use it better.

These are, for the most part, habits I let slide during my summer of disconsolate lassitude(fancy words for moping and slacking off).  It's time to get back to doing things that create a healthier/happier life for myself.

So...8 goals to start with.

And, we're OFF!

Religious Stuff

1: Figure out which direction I'm moving in.
2: Create a Samhain ritual.
3: Create a Yule ritual.

House Stuff

1: Repair bathroom floor.
2: Do final bits of wood stove installation. fire resistant floor- done, firewall painting and installation- tomorrow or I'm gonna smack someone and it is rather silly to slap oneself!
3: Winterize house.
a: windows
b: doors put foam stick on door insulation stuff around the front door yesterday
c: vents

Health Stuff

1: Keep up with the yoga.
2: Find solutions for my skin condition that work.
3: Start taking supplements again as required.

Creative Stuff

1: Do a "stained glass" design on the window next to the wood stove, since the interior window treatment has to come down for the winter. (add a curtain between the panes for added privacy? Perhaps)
2: Paint "fire wall" for behind the wood stove with Tree of Life.  tomorrow's agenda, after the girls are done for the day and I'm home
3: Finish quilt.
4: Reupholster desk chair, Parson's chairs and hassock.

13 goals.

And, we're OFF!

That we are!  A late happy equinox to everyone and a reminder to start posting your updates and progress reports at any time.  If you haven't addded your list, please feel free to do so at any time during the season (Finn? Mithril? Where ya'at?).  The thread "closes" for updates on the solstice in December, so there's still plenty of time to accomplish some goals .

Welcome back to the familiar faces and an even bigger welcome to the new participants this season.  Here's where we're at on the first full day of the season:

Number of participants: 11
Number of goals: 100 (wow, how'd that happen?)
Goals completed: 0
Percentage of goals completed: 0.0%

Well, since the weather is rainy and cool with 100% of wet and 0% chance of me going out into it, it's a good time to do my first update of the season.

On Being a Responsible Adult:
1. Reduce personal debt by 10%. - I know my starting point, so it's just a matter of paying things down the rest of the season.
2. Reduce myself by 5% (weight loss, that is). - Again, have starting point established and will work on it through the season.
3. Resolve ongoing health issues. - It's pretty difficult to resolve a health issue if you aren't sure what the underlying problem is.  I'm impatiently waiting to get into see a new doctor so that I can start moving forward on this.
4. Clean out craft room and have a supply destash sale.  - Finished cleaning the craft room this week and need to start photographing supplies I'm selling off.
5. Re-open the HMD online shop. - Scheduled for next weekend, starting with the above craft supply destash.
6. Put aside money for UK trip. - Will commence with next payday.

From the Creative Depths:
1. Win NaNoWriMo. - Is it November yet?!?!?!
2. Blog at least once/week. - Done for this week, blogged every day in my personal journal.
3. Make diaper cakes for expecting co-workers. - Have necessary items to do this but am waiting until closer to the baby showers to assemble these.
4. Photograph at least one "new" cemetery. - This may be put on hold until my November roadtrip, as I will be visiting friends who like to explore old cemeteries as much as I do.
5. Finish putting together my Halloween costume. - Undead Deadwood is the general theme.  The last component (deep red powdered eyeshadow) arrived in the mail yesterday. However, I'm not marking this finished until I've done a trial run with the make-up, finished the necklace I'm making, and fitted the fangs.
6. Pick design and fabrics for throw quilt. - No progress at all here.  I'm having difficulty deciding if I want to finally make A's memorial quilt or just do something that has zero emotional investment beyond "oh pretty colors, I like the pretty colors."  Until that decision is made, there will be no progress on this one.

The Ubiquitous Others:
1. Take road trip to visit friends. - Thirty-five days and counting.  Vacation time has been approved and I am already planning for it.
2. Do my holiday shopping. - No progress.
3. Complete harvesting and drying of plants. - As soon as the monsoon ends.
4. Make outdoor trash cans bear-proof. - I need to see if I still have trash cans, as there was something large and hungry lurking about them last night.  (Walks to window)  Yep, the cans are still there, but one is looking rather pathetic and sat upon.
5. Plan workings for 2 year anni and for Samhain. - Still pondering these.  If I do the memorial quilt, I may just do this as the anni working, since it's all tied together.  If the quilt is put on hold, I'll probably do a picnic at the lake complete with a dumb feast and a small working.  Samhain will be spent with practicing friends, so I'm sure that if I don't think of something, they will.  In both cases, I have some time to think about.
6. Read at least five books for pleasure. - One down, four to go.  Stayed up late last night and finished Christopher Moore's Fool (started on Wednesday, so read entirely within the season.  Not difficult as Moore is literary junk-food-for-the-brain).  If the weather doesn't improve, I should be half way through the next novel by the end of today.

My personal stats:
18 goals
0 completed
0 failed
Progress Abounds

If you haven't addded your list, please feel free to do so at any time during the season (Finn? Mithril? Where ya'at?).

I'm here! Finally. I've been around, but somehow this just completely got away from me.  Tongue

Let's see:

Brighid's World:

1. Blog in An Seanchas Fior every Flamekeeping shift.
2. Participate in NaNoWriMo.
3. Finalize, and begin rituals/whatever for calendar on Samhain.

The Rest of the World:

4. Begin, and do well in copy editing certificate program; complete self paced course by Solstice.
5. Continue looking for a job.

My World:

6. Crochet a Mother Bear by Solstice.
7. Crochet one more pattern blocks on my bhrat by Solstice.

Ever since I began making a new 101 Things in 1001 Days, I've been really liking the quantifiable goals thing.

Technically I am just saving up for any old trip Elsewhere, but I think I've finally decided to make it the UK.

The any old trip Elsewhere savings plan is one that I subscribe to.  The next Elsewhere just happens to be the UK.  It seems that there's always somewhere that I want to go; Norway's probably going to be the next big trip.

I might add or subtract from this, we'll see.  But it's a start.  Smiley

1. Wardrobe - I need to update my work wardrobe since I'm cycling thru the same two pairs of pants and four shirts. Keeping my eye out for shirts, atm.

2. Boxes - Continuing on my unboxing quest. One box a week looks to be my goal.

3. Exercise - 3-4 times a week.  Taking a walk, Wii-fit, yoga, whatever.  Just something. Working hard but not exercising as hard.  Hoping to pick this up this week.

4. Kitchen - 1 maybe 2, fancy meals a week.  Otherwise known as not spaghetti and hopefully with meat. This is working out pretty good.

5. Work - Keeping my job and not killing anyone.I hate my coworkers. So keeping my temper with monumental idiots is a difficult proposition.

6. Christmas - Start banging out the homemade gifts for christmas for the family.  And start picking up a gift card a payday. Whippping out a pillow case this week.  Hopefully, doing an order for a gift card next week.

So far, so good.

Update the first:

Fitness
1.  Do 15 sessions with 10-Minute Solutions Fitness Ball DVD.--Currently at 10.
2.  Complete 6 weeks of new exercise schedule.--Did not manage it this week (but only missed one day!); still at 0.

Writing
1.  Finish filling in backstory for Nia before November 1.--I need to remind myself of what I've already got, at this point.
2.  Reach 50K and a finished draft in NaNoWriMo.--Not November yet.
3.  Decide whether to continue work on last year's NaNoWriMo project, and if so, set goals accordingly.--Leaning toward "yes" based on one beta reader expressing that he was enjoying it and finding it "addictive" partway through.  LOL  But specifics will have to wait until after NaNo.

Fun Stuff
1.  Learn to play one song on the guitar.--Still working on chords.  I'm not progressing very fast, but then I'm not spending a lot of time on it every day and not taking actual classes or anything, so.
2.  Watch Buffy though "Once More With Feeling"--I'm one episode closer now.
