I just wanted to see how it looks and if it works.

I'm kind of combining responses to this and your question re: avatar size, etc. over in the other thread here...  One, the reason your avatar isn't working is that you've got a bit of extra stuff in there.  Here's what you've copied/pasted in:

Two, though, that image is way too big anyway (which is why I haven't just fixed it for you).    If you right-click on the image, you should get a little menu that has "Properties" as one of its options.  If you choose Properties, you will be able to see the dimensions and the file size to see whether the avatar will fit our requirements.  (The dimensions have to be no more than 128x200 and the file size has to be under 10KB (or roughly 10000 bytes).)  As Steve said in the other thread, it's possible one of us may be able to help you with resizing...  though with this particular image, I'm not sure it will look as good sized down that small.
