Just because I'm curious... If you work with/honor several of them the question is to which one or couple of do you have a deeper personal relationship.

My guess would be that Apollon gets the most...

The deities I've worked with the most and committed myself to a relationship with (Gosh, that sounds like it belongs on eHarmony...) are the Three Graces, Thalia, Euphrosyne and Aglaea. It gets a bit difficult when it comes to looking up information, because then I just end up with info on Aphrodite instead -- they were often represented as her handmaidens.

But those are my gals, so I clicked "another".  Cheesy

That's really cool! I don't know much about the Graces at all, and I've only recently started working with Aphrodite in ritual. Would you mind if I asked what the Graces are like, and how you became devoted to them?

The only Greek deity I've been able to communicate with is Pan, and he came to claim me without previous contact. When I first considered Paganism in general I went from deity to deity in the Greek pantheon looking for a connection, but could never get a response. I do believe that Artemis was the one who truly taught me archery, but any attempts to work with her further have amounted to nothing. I was always drawn to them during childhood and I loved studying the myths, but apparently I'm not supposed to work with them.

That may not necessarily be true. I struggled for many years (and it's still a challenge today) to "feel" spiritual, whether it's being able to communicate and sense the presence of gods, or sense energy for spellcraft, whatever. Don't give up hope! Some of the Theoi can be very subtle (Athena comes to mind, and Dionysus's touch can be light as a feather when he feels like it). Pan, on the other hand, I don't think would know the word subtle if it smacked him upside the head. Smiley He showed up to me out of the blue, without ever having talked to me before too.

If you feel drawn towards the Greek gods, keep reaching out. For me I've found that it helps to have a statue or image on my altar and make a point to visit it throughout the day. I've got a lovely miniature statue of Venus de Milo that I found in an antique shop that I use as my statue to Aphrodite. I started working with her about a week ago during spellcraft, but I've carried that over by anointing the statue with water and rose oil. Daily offerings are good, too - Aphrodite's got an apple on her altar now, and yesterday I gave Apollo a sandwich. (That's a long story. Smiley) My long winded point being, perseverance is key.
