I dunno about that Pyperlie....my shirts tend to be what me and my mom call "square shirts". You know, fold the fabric in half, cut and sew around a neckhole, sew side seams and arms holes, and hem the bottom. There ya be: quick, easy, simple and quite comfortable shirt in no time at all!  Wink

So long as we have an outlet to plug it into, I'll have you all fit for the runway in no time.  Palazzo pajama pants with ruched waistbands and french seams... no problemo.

For more menial tasks like carrying rocks, we'll need more serviceable garments.

If the bottom hem is straight, you're doing better than I ever did manage.  Tongue

Nice wolf, btw; what happened to you're drawing?

Oh, you mean the hem must be straight? <insert innocent look>

What drawing?  You might have me confused with Juni, Moon Ivy or somebody else as I've never had a drawing!

I think she's thinking of Juniper, who uses her beautiful painting of a wolf as her avatar.

I as well.  I just prefer to have garments done before my next birthday.  Nothing like being crunched for time finishing something you plan on wearing that night and falling short.

I know how to sew by hand, technically...  But my stitching is generally not anything resembling neat or even, and how secure it is varies from project to project.  So I'll mend small tears or things that won't be visible by hand, but generally I borrow Mom's sewing machine if I'm trying to do anything more serious.  Sad

That's entirely possible. I noticed the similarity between my wolf and her wolf when I first set mine.  The biggest difference between hers and mine tho, besides the obvious (yanno, one's a pic, one's a painting) is hers is straight on and mine's 3/4 left profile.  Wink

Now I like to hem by hand, but I can't imagine no thaving a machine to sew seams and such as I can't hand sew a straight line to save my life.  Hehehe.

I'll be the useless one!

Though I can knit.  and crochet.  and sew.  and garden, somewhat.  and cook.

and mother EVERYONE!  tee hee!

I can cook for large numbers of people...I make kickass stews and soups. Gimme a cauldron and I'll feed all y'all. Jubilee makes about 200 lbs of fertilizer a week; and mows a mean lawn.

I can crochet, handsew and embroider just about anything.

So, count me and Jubilee in on the commune/community.

Tainted animal feed not just China's problem
Melamine also found in ingredients made by U.S. companies, FDA reports
