I keep having issues, just in this program, when I type. I type about 100WPM, so keyboards occasionally have a difficult time keeping up with me. The problem itself is that the keys stick, any key from my space bar to my letters, and I get three or four of them posted on the screen. My problem, however, is only in the Word program as this never happens on any of the message boards that I belong to or the blog that I use. So, I don't know if anyone else has an issue with over-sensitive keys when they type up documents or what, but...

Anyone else heard of this?

(BTW: I have a Dell 1525 if that helps.)

I use office 2007 and have never heard of this problem.  Why not google it to see if it is normal/fixable/whatever?

I have Word 2007, and have yet to have that problem. I'm on an Alienware, and type about 75wpm, which isn't as fast as you, which could cause the difference as well. But for me, I haven't had any problems.

I'm on a computer my son built - he's a video game programmer and felt the need for bigger/better/faster.  i can't even tell you what the mother board is without checking with him!

I haven't heard of it offhand but I have to wonder if the keyboard repeat delay could be lengthened to avoid the issue.  You should be able to find the slider in your keyboard control panel.

The molecules of your body are the same molecules that make up this station, and the nebula outside, that burn inside the stars themselves. We are starstuff. We are the universe made manifest, trying to figure itself out. As we have both learned, sometimes the universe requires a change of perspective. " ~ Delenn, Babylon 5
