The same thing has happened to me!  I think people can tell I'm a n00b because I try and trade for 100 of something instead of 5k. lol  Then people just send me stuff.  The weirdest thing is when someone I didn't even talk to and lived nowhere near me sent me 1000 bread.  This is super great, and I plan on returning the Maat to other new players once I get some surplus.  It's a welcome change from some facebook games where someone got so mad I attacked them when they tried to kill me for bounty and lost that they posted on my board that "I'm going to keep you fucking dead for a month."  

Btw, would anyone be wtt 300 bricks for 300 gold?
