I got bored with it after I bought my third city.  I've found that it's really addictive in the beginning, and then once you get more established there is a lot less to do.

Makes sense, I tend to do that with most games, I have forgotten accounts on so mnay online games that I was mad about for a month or so and then just get bored with.
