I just checked, my intro post was made on August 17, 2004.  So I've been here for almost 5 1/4 years Smiley

You've been around a few months more than me. I just checked and my first post was January 13th 2005 so 4 years 11 months today apparently.

On a side note, oh my gods I'd forgotten how embarrassingly immature and uninformed I was 5 years ago! Reading through my old posts was decidedly entertaining in a rather mortifying way Grin.

Kasmira and Mel make me feel like a newbie - I've "only" been here for four and a half years (exactly - the date stamp on my very first post is 13 Jun).

Lol, we're talking a difference of less than a year for both Mel and I here. Does TC have a highly defined pecking order I'm not aware of... *Points to imaginary TC member* "Hey you, you've been here 21 minutes less than me. Go fetch me some cake. And a beer. Foot massages are optional."  Cheesy Wink.

I think it would be interesting too see a list of when everyone joined.  Not all members mind you, just our current batch of long-term regulars.  Of course, it wouldn't happen because I don't think anyone is willing to go on that big of an archives binge.

Kasmira, fetch me a glass of punch and a cute guy to give me a full-body massage.

Does that answer your question Grin

It would but I sure ain't volunteering Cheesy.

Of yours or mine? 'Cus I sure don't want folks looking at my old posts Shocked! *Tries to brush old postage under the rug*. It's kind of like old family photo albums. You can look at your own for nostalgic reasons, but when your parents pull them out to show your friends when they come to visit it just gets embarrassing Cheesy.

Not that I know of - it was mostly just that you two were talking about halves, and I was thinking of mine as "just over a third".

That, and I often mention my first post on TC's birthday, because having half a year to the day between its anniversary and mine amuses me.  It also amuses me that it wasn't an intro post - I just jumped into a convo, and no one noticed I was new (which was fine by me, I wanted to be part of the convo, not the focus of "Welcome to TC" attention); a year or two later I went and looked it up for some reason and it was shiningly obvious why they didn't:  I sounded like a Cauldronite.  (Why, yes, I'm ridiculously proud of that.)

I'm going to use it to make a new wand so without the marrow and no fava beans.

Oops, I'm wrong - Star noticed.

It's so weird. I always feel like I'm newer here than folks like you and Sunflower. Perhaps because it took me so long to get on my feet. All the same, it's funny to think for how little time some of the "regulars" have been here. Myself included.

Well, you were what?  13?  TC has always seemed really lucky with it's teen members - you, tree, Mel, Nigel Rin(?), Mithril - off the top of my head, but I know there's more.  If your first posts were a bit juvenile it's certainly understandable.

I think I joined late in '05, so in TC years I'm younger than you. Cheesy
