What kinds of unusual places do you find yourself close to your Gods?

I somehow managed to miss my really obvious ones.  Places set apart - courtyards, college campuses, labyrinths, enclosed spaces.  Borders.  Edges.  There's an element of times set apart too - Stevens Point Trivia, GenCon.  Sort of geeky times-outside-the-year.  Although those are a little more times when I'm closer to myself, if that makes sense.

I see you don't have islands on that list.  Is that a matter of having little personal experience with them, or of somehow managing to miss an even more obvious one?

Whoa.  Yeah.  I think I'm going to vote on having little personal experience with them, although plenty of interest.
