What's the strangest thing you've ever had the urge to offer/put in a spell?

Not me, but I had a friend driving to my house for a ritual and he said he had to turn around because he passed a McDonald's and apparently Manannan mac Lir suddenly really wanted a McDonald's Apple Pie. Friend said later that he asked, "Why didn't You give me some warning, I'd have made You a proper pie" and the response was that Manannan specifically felt like the McDonald's one at the time.

Moral of the story: choose your route to a ritual site carefully if you want to avoid feeding gods junk food?

Regards,
