I havn't been able to find a job in a while so i decided to make a chicken and broccoli dish for prosperity,
health, wealth and enrichment. The next day i got a call from my mom saying her friends spa wants to hire me!
I can't believe it worked that fast! It was wonderful and now they are going to call me in for an interview.  I'm so excited!

Is anyone interested in kitchen witchery?

I'm definitely interested in hearthcraft and the like. Smiley I know those two terms aren't exactly interchangeable, but I think they're sister paths that influence and teach each other. I love to cook, but unfortunately I have /very/ little opportunity at school to do so. Kitchen witchery is reserved for when I'm home on breaks, and even then it's mostly lighting a candle to Hestia, kissing eggs (prior to breaking them Wink) and just being mindfully aware and joyful. I've always taken great pride and pleasure in feeding my family, and making a dish that just works. I haven't worked much magic in the kitchen, but I definitely see the potential.

That is exactly how I look at cooking. I take pleasure in the act and try to pass those vibes on.

A Kitchen Witch's Cookbook, by Patricia Telesco.

It's a book of recipes, mainly, but she also has history of and meanings to the dishes scattered throughout, as well as a collection of specifically magical dishes.

I've found it incredibly useful, and is actually what started me on the path of hearthwitchery in the first place. Smiley

ME!  One of my favorite mediums,  I did Zuke Bread last summer for prosperity as well.
I am the main cook for my family (as I am a Homemaker/SAHM) so its the easiest for me as well, I have 5 little ones that can make things difficult LOL.  So yeah I rather like it.

We just started a study group/circle for kitchen witches! I'm super excited.
