I would dearly love to see a discussion on the whole "but x was originally pagan, so Christians stole from us" thing. I know there's the awesome article Koi did, but it's not always applicable in these done to death conversations.

Assuming you are willing to monitor such a special topic, work up a first post (start a thread in the SIG Leader board if you want to) and I'll set it up.

I don't know that I am entirely qualified- Christianity is not exactly my forte- but I will definitely get started on something. It might take me a little bit- I'd like to go through some threads on this board and the more recent archives.

That's the problem with special topics. They need someone fairly expert in the subject area to handle them. If you don't feel qualified, don't feel you have to do it.

I'll take the next week and wander through the forum here and the archived boards and see what threads I can find; even if I can't put together a good thread, I can put together some links that we can direct people to when the topic comes up.
