I've just become suddenly unemployed, but I'll send what I can as soon as some money comes in. Hopefully, it'll be soon enough to make a difference.

Congrats on Elvis' improving health too.

Thanks Marc, but I'd worry more about your own situation first. We've received about 27% of what we need in 24 hours. I hope that if people continue to be able to be generous, we'll have enough in a few days. Unfortunately, I can't even put a request for help on the web site because I don't have access to the local copy of the site, let alone the software and local server needed to update it. None of that runs on a 400mhz 256 meg RAM old "spare" laptop.  But it allows me to read the board and stuff.

We are REALLY happy about that.  And just the one dose of Prednisone he had today has almost stopped his wheezing and coughing.

I threw you a little. I'd have loved to give more, but we're still a little poor for a couple weeks until the DH's full-time pay checks start coming and my raise kicks in.

I'll have some type of formal announcement tomorrow, but here a "New Computer" Donation button.

Oops, I used the Cauldron Server Donation button instead, but it's for the new comp. Well, either way!

This forum has been invaluable to me over the years, in its many incarnations, even if all I do is lurk, for the most part. I'm happy to donate.

I figured that was likely the case, Treekisser. Smiley  Thank you and everyone else who has donated so far. Apologies, but email still is not usable so no individual thanks yet.

As of 7pm this morning. We have 52% of the amount needed. Thank you and please keep the donations coming in. It is very frustrating to see all the work that needs to be done on TC, have time to work on it, and not be able to do any of it because I can't even run the software I need to do the work.

Okay, since last night Paypal was down, I've sent a little.

I'm so pleased to hear you're nearly halfway to your goal in so short a time! Cauldronites are awesome.  Smiley

I wasn't going to point that out-I'm too scared of Randall to do that!  Wink

LOL. Pointing them out is a game here. I wish I could say I make those mistakes on purpose for people to point out, but I just make them.  Embarrassed

Unofficial update: As of around noon, we are at 65% of the amount needed.

Either you're getting better or I'm learning to ignore them. Wink

I was able to donate some and I was happy to do so.  Even though I don't post much this place has really been helpful to me.  I would hate to see anything happen to it just because of a little issue of having no one to care for it!
