   On the evening news tonight, NBC actually mentioned this.  Also said that there has been one desicration there already.    ( I'm betting that the desicrators will most likely never be caught. )   At least the news anchor handled the news bit very well.

There'd be a hue and a cry if it was one of the JCI that got desecrated, C getting the biggest and I getting the smallest of said hue and cry. The rest of us just need to suck it up and hope there aren't protestors.

They probably will not be caught because catching them after the fact would be hard. However, unless Gould has changed a lot since he was a captain at Randolph AFB back in the 80s, I doubt he would turn a blind eye to the person who did it if he or she were caught.

I rented Constantine's Sword a few weeks back and it started and ended at the AFA and Ted Haggard.  I was fairly impressed with the documentary as a whole.

I wonder what the response would have been if the pagan cadets had simply used the cross as firewood, with appropriate thanks to those who donated it.  After all, it's made of wood and it was left at a place where fires will be built.  No need to read religious insult into something that could easily have been a donation in good faith.

Lessee...I think the Academy is in Colorado Springs...and they're currently undergoing an awful budget shortfall thanks to a tax payer Bill of Rights that has gutted their budget...and one of the places that the city has had to seriously cut back is in the Parks department. The Fire Department has met with some budget cuts, too.

So, since there will be no watering and the Parks Department can't maintain the parks really (they took out the trashcans a little bit ago), that would leave things to the fire department, and I suspect they wouldn't rush out.
