When I started to get interested in the Wiccanesque wheel I just read an article about the specific sabbat shortly before and then decided what I'd like to do. Mostly I did little things like going outside and just watching what nature was doing at this time, lighting a candle with a specific color, reading up stuff associated with the sabbat, decorating my home and altar, crafting something (last Imbolc I made candleholders for every element)...

You don't have to start with a full ritual to call it celebration, I think. Wink

But where's the fun if you have no ritual and pomp? Smiley

Decorate your home or altar with seasonal or sabbat appropriate stuff. Light a candle or three or some incense and say a little prayer or read a poem or chant (in internet is filled with seasonal sabbat poems and prayers) Serve a meal with sabbat specific foods and partake of the meal mindful of the season.

Simple.
