Well I would like to invite some fair folk to my lawn area but I do not know how to do this! Should I leave food or grain in a circle to stimulate fungal mycelia, or what :?

Well, first up, I'd take a look at your particular area, and see what kinds of fair folk would be around.  I don't know what experiences you've had, but the fair folk aren't always nice, and they aren't always good.  You'll want some sort of protection, I think.

But that's sort of where my knowledge of them ends.  Someone more used to them would be able to tell you more.
