I know I'm not the only one who has written some magnum opus. I also know that I'm probably not the only one who can't come up with a title for said magnum opus. For those who finally got past this particular muse blocker, how the hell did you get there?
It. Took. A. Whole. Year.
Seriously, I went through, like, five titles before I decided on "Epeiran Story". Simple, describes the book (a story about a place called Epeiran) and it's fairly punchy.
But you wouldn't believe some of the crud I went through to get there. "Distortion Reincarnate" springs to mind...
I think I finally got there by thinking about what the book was really about (plays on the word "Journey" came up frequently), the characters, the places, the villain, everything.
Actually, that one was the hardest to title - the title usually comes fairly soon after I start, or else isn't too hard to extrapolate.
