I read this a few years ago, after attending a couple of workshops given by the author.  Unfortunately, I don't remember it in detail, but I do remember thinking it was clearly written and easily understandable.  That said, IIRC, there is a feeling among some Asatruar that Paxson is not sufficiently historically-based.  So, I'd say, read this with that caveat in mind.
