Ever hear of Everquest 2? A number of the old guard from TES worked on developing that MMO and from the little I played it, it did have a similar feel.
Honestly I do not understand the fascination people have with the Evil Empire's X-Box. Blu-ray won the war and I do not see them recovering given the sub-par parts that they put into it as well (older model PS3 chip cheap bastards).
I did play it for a while, but I got dragged into playing D&D shortly after.
I like the 360 because of the Halo series, Fable and Mass Effect. I was really more after getting a 360 so I could play multiplayer with my friends on Halo. The only games I would ever play on a PS3 are Little Big Planet and Killzone 2. I have friends I can mooch off for that if I really want to... I also like that I can also sync my 360 to laptop. Really, and my parents had me prove this because my dad wanted a PS3 for a while, I feel the games
are better than PS3's selection.
Blu-ray? I'm fine with dvd's. Community? Eh, I'm cool with paying every month (or year) for all the cool doodads, and not for the basic (but still cool) things that come with a silver membership on XBOX Live. I LOVE that Last.fm is now almost fully integrated into XBL, because I've been using it for years now. For me, my Xbox 360 is my baby of entertainment.
Buuuuut I also have a Wii. :B WOO!
