I don't know if I should be putting this in "news" instead of humor, but since I think the author is actually in earnest I will post it here:

Wow, I drink soy milk by the gallon and this does not apply to me.  In fact soy is a great estrogen inhibitor and muscle builder (sorry the muscle freak in me had to get that out).

I am so going to share this with my friends just to get their reactions.  Although a couple may get offended by portions of it.

The other thing that got me was when he was talking about teenagers and sexual orientation:  "No, they won’t wake up some morning with floppy wrists and a nasal lisp, but they may begin to gravitate toward social circles where they feel more comfortable ? and less expected to be rowdy or brag about a string of sexual conquests."  Am I the only one reading that as implying that being expected to brag about a string of sexual conquests is a GOOD thing because it's the "normal" "heterosexual" thing to do?  I don't even know what to say to that.

Ah, yes. We all want to raise our sons to beat their breasts and brag about sexual conquests, how fast their car goes, and how many beers they can drink before passing out. *sigh*

Please pass the soymilk.......

Well, that explains so much. No wonder Matt is always drinking that horrible, foul tasting stuff. And here I thought it was something a little more psychological about him completely not trusting women.  Roll Eyes

I knew it! I knew it! All this time... but nobody believed me... Next it will be the eskimos with lazer guns! They're coming...

Eskimos? Wait... have they teamed up with Sweden. Oh, gods, we're doomed!

Now granted, I'm not sure he actually understands the science or is doing anymore than taking fringe science to the next level.

I haven't had a change to actually look at any of the papers, but I suspect selective reading on at least some of it.

My kids both had soymilk formula as both were lactose intolerant as babies.

My Daughter is gay, my son as straight as a Saskatchewan highway.....

Go figure. Gues it only works 50% of the time.......

Actually, by his theory your daughter should be super, super, straight! All that soy-estrogen and all...

This is what I'm trying to figure out, wouldn't cow milk have more hormone's in it than soy milk? My nutritionalist agrees with me on that

Wow, and all this time I thought it was musical theatre that made people gay.  Or is it the influence of the pod people from the planet Swishy 9 that makes people gay and musical theatre just gave a taste for bad music and trite storytelling?  I always get those two mixed up.

Hm...I thought soy made me short.  I guess it was the coffee...

My little girl used to love pink. However, she has just moved into a bigger bedroom (which is very pale green) and she wants to turn her old bedroom into a study-we have a week to turn it from a pink Disney Princess bedroom to a black, white and red office for her! Her favourite colour is purple though-go figure.  Cool
