If that's the case, you might also really like the book _Twelve Wild Swans_ by Starhawk and Hilary Valentine - it's actually less directly political than some of Starhawk's other work, but it's got some really great exercises and meditations and other techniques, as well as a really interesting way of connecting them into a solid foundation for practice and developing it over time.
