I was tired of having to look for all of my supplies when I started working on something, so I made me a little tote to put it all in. There is even a pocket on the inside for my notebook Smiley It is 13.5 in. tall, 15 in. wide, 10 in. deep.

It's made of foam poster board, lots of duct tape, elastic and some fabric I found in my fabric bin. It took me probably about 3.5 days. If I would have had all my supplies to make it and didn't take in "breaks" I probably would have taken only a day, but I get distracted easily >.>

Btw can you tell I like scissors? ^///^

Neat!  Literally and figuratively.  Wink

I tend to keep projects in separate bags.  My unfinished knitting projects live in reusable grocery bags.  I like to alternate complex and simple projects so I don't get too exhausted or bored, and it's nice to just grab one and go, knowing everything I need is inside (pattern, needles, yarn).

Thank you! I like to try to keep things organized (tho you would never know that if you walked into my room... :/ ).

I kept all my supplies in grocery bags too. But I had so many and kept loosing track of them so I decided to just make me something to put them in Smiley I'm actually surprised at how good it turned out O.o

I keep a strict three-project limit.  And by "strict" I mean...not...always...strict.  <shuffles feet>

Oooo, pockety!!

Pockets (and cubbyholes, and other sorty things of similar sort) are my Great Temptation; I have a tendency to bring 'em home first and figure out just what their purpose will be second, on the premise that Sorty Devices Are Always Useful (a premise that elides the fact that they're not all equally useful for a given person's/household's needs).  I need to stop drooling over your tote, for its sheer pockety goodness, and start thinking about what (all) I might use such a thing (or several such things) for, the better to ensure that mine can be customized to suit my particular needs.  But it's hard, because, oooo, pockety!!

Hee hee, yes it's pockety goodness is hard to resist ^_^

I could never find any type of 'sorty device' that would fit my needs, so I made my own. You should make one, it isn't that hard (it's quite fun actually ^_~ )!!
