The seasons will be changing soon, so it's nearly time for another round of seasonal To-Do lists.

How this thing works:
1. Post your list of goals to be accomplished during the Summer (Winter for those of you south of the equator).  Please either number your list or post a running total of the number of goals made and completed.
2. After the solstice, periodically post updates and progress reports on this thread.
3. I'll try to give progress updates for the group every week or two.
4. The fun ends on the last day of the season, when we'll start a new thread and whole new lists.
5. Most important: Have fun and don't get too stressed!

Remember, this to-do list doesn't officially start until solstice.  Post your lists now and remember to update them regularly between June 22nd and September 22nd.

Good Luck!   Smiley

I have only one goal right now.

1. Move.  Hoping to get into a place that's less expensive so the SO can go back to school.  After that happens, I'll add to the list as we go along.

Here's this season's list with a vow that I will do better than a 50% completion rate this season.  Roll Eyes  I'm going back to a longer list in hopes of holding myself more accountable to the things I need to get done.

Finances, Work, and Other Responsible Adult Stuff:
1. Reduce debt by 5%.
2. Find a new job.
3. Do all the things needed to keep car another year -  get inspection, make any necessary repairs, renew tags, and pay taxes.
4. Limit hours at day job to a maximum of 50 per week.

What I'd Rather Be Doing- The Online Shops:
1. Organize and inventory all completed pieces for sale.
2. Reach minimum sales goal for this quarter.
3. Post at least five items per week.
4. Blog or other marketing at least once per week.

Creative, Hobby, and Other Happy Stuff:
1. Dedicate at least one hour per week to the garden.
2. Create at least 10 new things - jewelry, poetry, sewing, etc.
3. Blogging Goals: daily posts to personal blog, weekly posts to all other blogs.
4. Outline novel for NaNo 2010.

Health and Well-Being:
1. Hit 'milestone' weight by losing 10.5 pounds.
2. Go on three long hikes.
3. Continue to rebuild personal defenses.
4. Schedule eye exam.

Prodigal Pagan's To-Do List:
1. Update altar for summer.
2. Do a solstice celebration ritual.
3. Add a dozen entries to personal herbal site.
4. Post three new Path Forging entries.
5. Make personal incense blend.

All Work and No Play- Fun Stuff:
1. Read three books for the sheer pleasure of reading.
2. Go to the local Highland Games.
3. Start planning for Thanksgiving getaway.
4. Make time for being social... offline.

That's 25 goals for the season, pared down from my original list of 35. Yikes, I've got some work to do, don't I?

This is my first time doing this, so fourteen goals so far.

Books/Words:
1. Purchase a copy of the Táin Bó Cúailnge.
2. ... of the The Mabinogi.
3. ... of Early Irish Myths and Sagas + The Dictionary of Celtic Myth and Legend.
4. Hunt for more books!
5. Finish current read by Peter Berresford Ellis.
6. Purchase three notebooks.

Spirituality:
1. Work out a sort of calendar, choosing days for devotionals and marking moon phases and other significant info.
2. Do a new meditation every day for a week.
3. Set up a semi-permanent altar.
   i) Purchase some material to cover it.
ii) Go looking for some interesting smells, candles etc. Upgrade from just lighting a candle to something a bit more spicy?

Other:
1. Take the local map and go exploring round the countryside.
2. Volunteer at Rescuers?
3. Put up picture!
4. Buy new clothes.
5. Generally, save my money!

Can't think of anything else for the mo. Heh, this could go one of two ways. Roll Eyes

And that's quite the goal!  Good luck with the move.

Oh yes, just starting this little adventure makes my head ache.  Looking for a cheaper, pet friendly place right now.  Hoping to be out of "here" and into "there" by the beginning of August.  DH - I love him but he can be a real pantser.  As in, doing things by the seat of his pants instead of planning things out.  Shocked

Shoot me now, it might be easier.

As far as your sinister pink yarn, I'm done with the basic shape of the bunny - now I'm doing secondary color stuff.  (inside of the ears, a vest, the face ...)  Do you want me to type up what I have and send it over?

Here we go again! This is going to be a crazy season for me.  I'll consider it a success if I complete everything under the 'wedding category'.

Household Stuff
1. Really finish my "spring jacket".  Roll Eyes
2. Return all those dang pop cans
3. Clean out and cull objects in the kitchen cabinets.
4. Talk to BIL about building a shelf in the living room.
5. Give the bathroom and good scrub-down
6. Dry-clean the down comforters.
7. Wash all walls.
8. Paint the living room? (I'll really be shocked if that happens)

Wedding Stuff
1. Design, print, mail invitations
2. Purchase favors and attendant gifts
3. Pay off all the vendors
4. Finish corsages.
5. Not freak out and run away.
6. Keep up on thank yous as we go.
7. Survive the wedding

Not freak out and run away.

I may have to borrow that goal.  Only I'd apply it to my day job.  Cheesy

Ya know, I'm right there with you on that. This season will be calmer and less stressful than spring... because I said so dammit.

Hmm, I wonder how offended certain deities would be if I carved that on my ritual seasonal candle.  Cheesy
