I'm an avid cross stitcher, the more complicated and intricate the pattern the  better (yes I'm clear on the whole I'm a nerd issue  Grin).  I have a ton of pics posted online on facebook and multiply also under mensachickie.

I just bought (stupid catalog coming along and tempting me) a picture of a Fall Fairy from herrshners (not entirely sure how to post a link here but it's on their site), and also have Shakespearean Fantasy by Heaven and Earth Designs waiting in the wings.

My dream project though is School at Athens by Raphael.  My all time favorite Renaissance artist (yes there's that nerd thing coming into play again), I got to see it on a trip to the Vatican in 1990 and absolutely fell in love with it.  I did find it on line but I have so many other pieces just screaming to be stitched I cant justify the almost 80 bucks to myself right now, but I'm working on it   Cheesy.

I can, thankfully, work on mine at work after the paperwork stuff gets done (and my boss doesn't come in, for some reason, in the middle of the night) but since I've come back to the path I've been reading like crazy and my stitching, alas, has suffered.

I routinely knit at the computer.  While in chat.  I've even figured out how to knit while reading a hardcover or trade paperback. (regular paperbacks are too small without breaking the spine, don't like doing that).

Me?  Obsessed?  NEVER!

I used to do cross stitch, but I got annoyed too many times when I got the wrong thread.  Then I had a kid - and knitting is just safer around a kid, IMO.  at least I can SEE where I put the needle!

There was video evidence, though I'm not sure she still has it posted.  Shad...any chance?  Or any chance you could make another?  Wink
