Great Dionysia! I mean, the Santa Fe Wine Festival

When: Jul. 3rd. 2010 - Jul. 4th. 2010
Where: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Come honor Dionysos with the members of the Hellenion Proto-Demos tes Hagnes Persephones at the Santa Fe Wine Festival. In ancient Greece, just a touch earlier in the year than this, would be the Great City Dionysia, a huge city-wide festival which celebrated wine and the god of it-- Dionysos. So, in a sense, the Santa Fe Wine Festival is a modern version of this ancient festival. Join us for some fun. We won't be conducting a ritual or anything like that, but I'm sure we'll be able to find grape-themed items for sale by the many vendors that would be perfect to bring home for your Dionysos altar. And you can pick up a nice bottle of wine to use at your next ritual.

If you want to join in the fun, you can RSVP at this website: http://www.meetup.com/SantaFe-Reconstructionists/
