Haha, well on the basis of everything else you've done it's a given! Smiley

Here we go.  Here's a commission for Nehet of Ausir/Osiris.

And here's one of Gaia/the Earth Element:

 Horus! 3"x3" on thin wood.

And Skadi 3"x7" on thin wood.

For Pagan Pride Day, also, these two... but if anyone's interested in buying them, let me know!

I have a few now. Some... I'm not so happy with. I need to change something about what I'm doing. I think maybe the colors. Everything looks a bit cartoony.

Anyway, the long ones are on 3"x7" thin wood.  The square's 3"x3", and the circle's... er... around 3" tall?

As ever, anyone interested in buying these before PPD, let me know!

Lugh, who started out as Dionysus, but butted in. And then didn't end up quite looking like he was supposed to.

Aphrodite. Not really happy with this one, but it's not horrid, so I won't paint over it.

I am happy with this one.  Cernunnos!

Kali, who started out as a doodle and wouldn't go away.

And lastly, Green Tara. Don't know how I feel about this one, other than it was rushed.

Here's the original sketch of Lugh/Bacchus.

Concept sketches for something I've tooled around with in my head for a while. So far I am calling them Mary's Thumbs, because... in sketch form, they look like thumbs with faces. Yyep. But they're kind of like the Virgin Mary, and kind of like goddesses, and kind of like nesting dolls. They're a lot rolled into one, and carry a lot of spiritual meaning for me, so I hope they do for other people, as well.

I ended up painting the little one, and wish I'd transferred it to wood first, because I really like the way it came out. It's just on paper, so I can't do anything with it.

What do you guys think?

Anyone want to give these weird gals a name?

I have about 20 nesting dolls at home, so the influence is pretty heavy! Hahah.

But I think they really are cute.
And I think the name Mary's Thumbs - or make it Thumb Mary? - is cute too.
Can imagine those as little pagan nesting dolls. Smiley

They actually have blank nesting dolls to order. I am seriously, seriously thinking of ordering one to do these guys as a set. Maybe like... the elements? Earth, air, fire, etc etc...

I think... I could be wrong... but without going to check... if you look up Golden Cockerel out of Boone, NC, they might have some.

So, here are a few more bits.

One is the finally finished Long Meg and Her Daughters. I owe a lot to folks here on the board and on Deviant Art for help with this one; it was tricky as poo.

And I've had this one finished for quite some time now, but had to (like with the Meg one) photograph it rather than scan it, since they were both too big for the scanner bed.

It's Inanna...

It's Inanna...

Gorgeous Smiley

I've always thought that if I were going to worship Gods from other pantheons, Inanna would be one of them.

(Got a bit of a soft spot for Kali, too).

I don't have much mental energy for that ATM but enough about me.

Great work!
