Inanna is also rather cool, I love her eyes. Smiley

Gorgeous Smiley

I've always thought that if I were going to worship Gods from other pantheons, Inanna would be one of them.

(Got a bit of a soft spot for Kali, too).

I don't have much mental energy for that ATM but enough about me.

Great work!

Yeah, I like Kali, myself, even if I don't know her as much as I feel I should to like her so much. My personal favorite of the Hindu deities I do know is Durga, however.  If you don't know about her, read up! She's fantastic.  Nothing like a goddess born out of the firey rage and frustration of other deities, who is then just as serene as could be whilst killing demons.

I think... I could be wrong... but without going to check... if you look up Golden Cockerel out of Boone, NC, they might have some.
<looks 'em up> Yep, it appears they do - or at any rate that they normally have them; I see an "out of stock until April 29th" notice.  That's not a big deal; I'm not all in a rush (I'm not sure whereinheck my acrylic paints got to, anyway) - I just was all, "hey there is such a thing?  where might I get them if/when I want them?".

Thank you!

While the "via Amazon" route isn't necessarily the one I'd take (not that I necessarily wouldn't, either; it'd depend), that gives lots of possible leads, and confirms the effectiveness of those particular search terms (a small thing, but it's nice to be able to know in advance about the search-term frustration I'm not going to have, y'know?).

And that's very useful info.  I'd rather, on the whole, deal with an individual distributor (I like individual makers even better, when it's possible/practical, but it isn't always), but knowing who's reliable and who's not without recommendations from those who've dealt with them is tricky.

Thanks again!

Yeah, I love buying local. Hell, I -work- local, so even if I didn't have a conscience, then I'd at least have to put up a pretense because of it.

GC has a website:  http://www.goldencockerel.com/ (which I think you said you went to, but for other folks, here it is) and their story about why they sell their stuff is here: http://www.goldencockerel.com/en-us/about-us.html

Basically, they're helping keep Russian folk art alive and give people over there a chance to make money when otherwise they might have been in more dire financial situations. Smiley

Here are some more minis on wood for Pagan Pride Day... WHICH I GOT A BOOTH SPOT FOR, WOOoOOO.  It was close. Even at the beginning of sign-up, there were only about six spaces left. Man.

The first two are on one piece of wood, front and back... sun and moon.

Here's a very simple Persephone.

A Mary's Thumb... not as fond of this one.

And this is for my own altar. It's Sequana.

As usual, if you are interested in buying any of these before PPD, let me know! They're very inexpensive.

What would the symbolism for that be, though? I mean... besides a flame? Heheh.
