I bet intensive is the right word too.  Judging from what little I know, it seems to be a demanding course of study.

Thank you!  I'm starting the second year of a two-year intensive.  After that...I don't know.  And that's ok for now.  Smiley

I wanted to be an animator as a kid, so I keep up with the cartoons and very little else.

Ahh... Cheesy I don't watch very many television programs myself, just a few. Stargate, CSI, Crossing Jordan, Voyager, etc.

I generally watch the prime time ones (Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc) but I like Avatar a lot.

Hail skilled Asklepios, divine physician...

As another pagan who is constantly trying to write poetry and works for my dieties, I have to say, "Bravo." This really sounds like an ancient hymn.

Thank you!  That's the highest praise I could aspire to.

Hail skilled Asklepios, divine physician!
What blessing is better than health?
In gratitude to You I offer this.

Absolutely wonderful!!

I'm positive he appreciated that.

Thanks!

I also left it as an offering at an on-line temple where I'd promised him a song earlier.  Doing stuff like that keeps me honest.

(I hope it's OK to post this here.  I've never written such a thing before, but I promised I would, and He kept up His end.)

Hail skilled Asklepios, divine physician!
What blessing is better than health?
In gratitude to You I offer this.

Hail heroic Asklepios, Coronis’ son,
Who traveled with Iason.
You restored dead Argonauts to life!

Hail Asklepios, father of Hygeia,
Also of plague-halting Podalirius,
And of Machaon, who healed Philoctetes.

Hail philanthropic Asklepios, healer of hurts
That might justly be called small,
But are sharply felt by us here below.

Hail kind Asklepios, son of Apollon!!
Who heals by means of dreams and serpents:
You healed the child for ten dice.
You healed my dear one for the asking.

Awesome poem!
