As an animal who regularly gets acrylic on her skin, it's fairly easy to peel off.

  Yeah, I wondered about that too.

  I've seen henna used on hide drums to lovely effect.  Granted, it's not quite as colorful and you'll have to seal it with some sort of oil, but I find it just gorgeous.
