I hope I posted this in the right section....I don't know where else to put this/too intimidated to put this anywhere else so.....

Okay, this kind of ties along with my "Energy" thread....kind of. I thought I should post the whole story instead of just one bit because I really need some advice about what might be happening to me. Because I'm getting a bit scared of it.

So here's the story...

It was wintertime and I was 11, I was dreaming of this weird red/black mist that kept changing shape and suddenly I was thrust awake. It was probably around midnight. I wasn't able to move at all, I would try to clench my hands into fists and they wouldn't move. It felt like something was pushing me down. Voices started to come into my head, old, young, high, and low I couldn't make out what they were saying, I also heard music and some voices I did know. I still couldn't move and the voices stayed for about 1-2 minutes. Then they faded and I could move again.

Afterwords wherever I went I felt exposed. Like I was walking naked in a hall of many people. Like eyes were watching me wherever I went. At about that time I was starting to have emotional troubles too.

After a while the feeling of exposure left but slowly new things came. In a 3 year period I slowly was able to sense emotions and energy, some people had a type of "feeling" you could call it. For example my friend Amanda feels as I would describe, like a venus fly trap. Compelling and aluring but dangerous beneath.

About 2 weeks before my 14th birthday I switched schools and it all exploded. Whenever I was around people with angry/worried/sad/malicious emotions I would feel something weird in the back of my neck area. Like something hot was coursing through there.(If you want to know more read my Energy thread) I could sense emotions easier too. I would wear different Celtic symbols to stop myself from feeling it all.

Then after school ended(about 2 weeks later) I started to see people who weren't there out of the corners of my eyes. That continued for a while.

Then I went to my summer home in WI and everything started to explode again but in a different way. I started to see things. Shadowy figures of people, weird dark figures that would appear and disappear, white and black orbs that would zoom around for a second or two before disappearing, weird silver and gold mists that would move around and disappear, silvery forms of things, you get the point.
Recently I yelled for whatever it was to "Get out" and for a week everything was fine. Now I'm seeing them again.

I have no clue if any of these events are tied to one another or anything like that. I for one think I'm going crazy. Does anyone know what's happening to me? Am I going insane or something else?

(and yes I know this sounds really weird.)

It's called sleep paralysis and it's pretty common in adolescents.  I had a couple of creepy bouts of it in my early teens.  Scared the hell out of me.

Again, pretty typical.  When it happened to me I had "dream hangovers" all day after.

I have no clue if any of these events are tied to one another or anything like that. I for one think I'm going crazy. Does anyone know what's happening to me? Am I going insane or something else?

I'm guessing they happened at a pivotal time in your life--adolescence.  Lots of life changes happening all at once.  Some may be related, others not.  It's unlikely you'll ever know for certain.

It's called sleep paralysis and it's pretty common in adolescents.  I had a couple of creepy bouts of it in my early teens.  Scared the hell out of me.

I had no idea that was a real medical condition. I have it all the time and figured it was just the end of a dream or nightmare. Now I feel much less weird. I guess it's true what they say, you learn something new every day.

If you are really worried that you are going crazy I would recommend talking to an adult you trust in the real world.

For what it's worth I often hear or see things that aren't there and as far as I know I'm no crazier than anyone else. So long as they don't interfere with you or start affecting you life you could try working on shielding or trying to figure out if there is something they want something from you personally. (I mean as in an offering or acknwledgement of some sort NOT anything the average person would find disturbing.) If it seems to be getting bad enough that you can't ignore or more substantial, I would seriuosly suggesst going to see a Dr and getting checked out.

Sometimes if I am astral projecting while sleeping and I get woken up abruptly, it can take awhile before I am able to move.  It can be rather scary, cause sometimes it does feel like something is around, but I think it may be because I'm still sort of "half out" and just really sensitive to the other plane.  To get rid of the feeling, I shield and go back to sleep.

No, you are not going crazy.  When I first started doing energy work I saw all sorts of weird stuff, I think because I was opening myself up to things I hadn't before.  With time, you will be able to control more of when you see stuff, and can choose to ignore most of it.
