Not only that, but the first reference to Christians looked like an attempt to 'shame' a good little pagan by comparing their behaviour to teh ebil Xians, and the two posts about the moon seemed like an attempt to establish a 'pagan cred' to get the spam reconsidered.

There is almost nothing guaranteed to get a faster and more pissed off response than someone trying that tactic. What's particularly funny about it is that I've *never* seen it work. Ever.
