What do various people do on a daily basis to involve the Thoi?  (Wasn't sure if I should have tacked this onto a two year old post, so I'll just link to it.

I finally have decent photos, so here's what I do

I start each day when I go to bed.  It's a practical adaptation for me.  I've read the ancients started their days at sunset.  I'm up till midnight most nights, and starting the day halfway through mine would feel odd.  So I pushed it back; on the arguement that, before electricity, people were up and down with the sun.

My daily Trio, though it's actually a quartet.  Just before going to bed, I pour out water offerings to Ma'at, Ganesha, and the Theoi and the Theoi of the day*.  My offering cups are little ceramic cups.  Slightly larger than a thimble, they once held candles.  Then I go to sleep.

Apon waking and after a shower, I drink the water of Ma'at and Ganesha.  I'm thinking I may start offering insence before drinking.  The Theoi water, I use a brush to wet a card of the Daily Theoi, and pour the rest on a milticolored marble used to represent all daimones.  That in turn is set upon a sponge, which helps the water evaporate, so it doesn't overflow.  (I tried cotton balls, but it didn't work.)

My outer altar.  On it you can see my herm for Hermes, Lord of travellers. When I go somewhere new, I bring a pebble back to add to it.  There is also a key, for Hecate as Mistress of keys.  And a brick for Zeus Erkios, Master of the House and it's grounds.  The first time I leave the apartment for the day, I pour water onto each item.

And a Hellene can't not mention Hestia when speaking of daily activities.

I'm a bit of a hermit.  As such, I don't interact with my community often.  So her candles remain unlit most of the time. (Though my computer wallpaper is of a fire in a hearth)  When I extinguish the flame, I visualize the snuffer pushing the flame into the wick.  So it's still there, it's just inside.  When it get's lit, the match pulls the flame out, like attracts like.  Behind it is the basket that I keep my finances in.  It's dedicated to Zeus Ktesios.  While he was guardian of the store-room, I don't have one.  Except the bank, as the store of money, which is goods-in-potential.  I don't do much with it for Him, except enter credits and debits.

And that's pretty much all I do.  I'm not one for rituals.

*I have a rotation of 24 (2x12) I offer specifically, including 'whomever else.'  Ideally, I would be mindful of them throughout the day, but I fail at mindfulness.  I'm thinking of commissioning a set of wood rings to wear, one for each of Them.

The purpose of Life is to experience. In order to experience new things, one has to change and grow. Therefore, to grow is integral to fulfilling the purpose of Life.
Conversly: Monotony is an experience.  Therefore, stagnation can be integral to fulfilling the purpose of Life.
