As a Seeker I admit that this thread fascinates me because it's something that has been on my mind a lot.  I was reading another thread the other day about the Great Rite and how sex was used to represent the duality of the Divine and fertility.  I was personally bothered by this because I think that we all have both in us and that duality is too often seen as opposites instead of a pair working together that has qualities the other needs to be complete.  Like a seed in the ground.  Both need each other to accomplish a goal but I don't see them as opposites and yet they are, together, fertile.  Or an idea.  There is the spark of the idea and then the energy to accomplish it.  I don't see those as opposites either.  And physically speaking there is a correspondence in the genitial of the male and female.  When testerone is introduced into a fetus the ovaries become testes, the clitoris becomes a penis.  The only thing there is no correspondence between is the uterus.  So ... I sort of have the idea that both are inside one yet are expressed in different ways.  It's more about how it's expressed instead of there is a lack of.  Does that make sense?  I hope so but I admit that my ideas are still forming.  Does anyone else see that duality is necessary but interchangable?  I really like what Darkhawk said about the ying-yang and how there is a spot of the other on each one.  That sort of plays into my own thinking process.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take,
it is measured by the moments that take your breath away.
