Also like being fully journeying and still aware of the 'normal' world. (I know that there are people who would say: oh than you are just fantasising and not really-really journeying, but then again what Guineith said with the last sentence  Wink) Or being fully at work, unintentionally switching to inner sight and see, let's say coyote who sniffs around at my workplace. Wink Still I insist, that I'm not needing medication *lol*

I do that too - I actually have been working on maintaining awareness of multiple worlds at once.  Really useful in ritual - in fact, it's pretty much my default, even with astral stuff.

I think the question that arose for me is 'if it worked, why aren't they still using it?' Smiley  But I'm a nasty skeptic.
Courtney Brown covered this in one of his books (although I can't remember which one). He said that the project was officially shut down some years ago, but more than likely it was moved to another division instead-black ops (meaning hidden projects). This is where all the CIA ops go that are too politically sensitive to be funded openly, but still show great potential. However, he couldn't say for sure because he no longer worked there.

I was very interested to note in a documentary about Montauk that although the base was apparently (officially) decommissioned and deserted, the radio gear (antenna dishes etc) that were above ground were still maintained and moved, that there was still a no fly zone in force over the base after 4 pm and that bizzare things still sometimes happened there (for example, Stealth bombers hovering noiselessly, dissapearing into thin air, the re-appearing...). This was 6 years after the place was mothballed (1985) in 1991. Montauk was where Project Majic (Project Majestic) was operating from for a time so it could have possibly returned there when it went black.

This was an old doco, but it is interesting nevertheless.
Also, this report from 1998...http://www.greatdreams.com/montauk.htm
This was thirteen years after the base was supposedly de-commissioned. Are the same sorts of things still happening there? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were.

Well, that's way off topic though. I guess I'm just a diehard military historian as well as a psychic and when I saw this story that combined both, I got real interested, especially since it also roped in Nikola Tesla, time travel and the Philadelphia experiment too!

I definitely liked this interpretation as to why my meditations are like this, and I feel that I shloldn't fight the way I view them, but instead embrace it because maybe there is actually a reason as to why I see them like this. Thanks Chaliceocean. I'll definitely keep this in mind next time I do some journey work.

Your welcome hun, i'm glad that i could help. I find sometimes things don't go as planned or as I expected. I used to fight it but find it much easier not to, plus the added benefit that I don't resist what I needed to know.

Bright Blessings and good luck!

Well, I'm a die-hard conspiracy theory junkie (although it's entertainment for me, rather than belief), and the more layers, shells, and false fronts the better.  Maybe Tesla and the RV experiments are to make people look hard at what supports that and completely miss the reptile people in the basement. I've noticed more and more that I tend to have problems when it comes to the meditations.

Not to derail the interesting thread drift, but to go back to the OT:

Can anyone recommend *really* good guided meditation CDs?  I haven't had very good luck at finding them for myself.

Extra points if there is drumming.   Cheesy

Thanks.

Sounds to me like you're watching it like you'd watch TV.  *shrug* it's the way your mind works, proly.

I dream that way all the time .. I see myself both from the inside and I *watch*.  unless it means you have a god complex (guilty!  that's why I write fiction!) Cheesy

Hmm.. that's an interesting way of looking at it. It does seem as though I'm watching TV and I'm the star of whatever show I'm watching. Hahaha.. but no God complex here.. Smiley

I really like the ones by Hemi-sync -  hemi-sync.com If you click on CD's and search for Mind Food you will get a list of the ones that will most likely contain verbal. I particularly like Guide to Serenity and Moment of Revelation. There are some nice ones that aren't guided too - I used to listen to Sleeping Through the Rain a lot to help me go to sleep and Baroque Garden while I was working to help me stay alert. I'm quite fond of their products. I'm not as fond of them as a lot of people I know who have shelled out hundreds of dollars for their series of CDs though or gone to one of their retreats. But I like them a lot more than other guided meditation cd's I've found.

I don't recall any drumming in them though. I think you can listen to snippets of some of them on their website though.

*I don't work for or even know anyone who works for the above company.

If that how it works, I'd go with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" method. Cheesy

It might not be the *standard* way of doing it, but standard doesn't mean it works for everyone!

You'd love Preston Nicholls, then. Apparently when he was deputy director at Montauk, he worked next to a lizard man by the name of Prince Draco. His office was in the basement, too! He was also in charge of making sure the Greys got looked after. Apparently they stank, so he sprayed them with lysol. They absorbed it through their skin and got drunk on it! Grin Cheesy Grin Tongue
Right about then I had to give the suspend disbelief button several very hard whacks!

Prince Draco apparently didn't much like lysol. He preferred dissolved drain cleaner instead!!!!!!
Whack Whack Whack Whack Whack!!!!!!!
Do I believe this? Well, I don't disbelieve it. There are organisms even here on Earth that have extremely alkaine body chemistry, so it's not impossible. And the Ancient Persians used to make statues of lizard men that they said came "from Heaven". They called them by a name that would be, translated, "Watchers"
And I have seen some pretty strange things myself.
However, I think that this one belongs in the "Wow, that really is wierd!" box!

That's what I love about them!  You should check out Abovetopsecret.com sometime (I don't think I wrote it right, because it didn't turn into a link.  You can probably google it though.)

I just love the names people come up with for the aliens, though.  It is as if every human had 'hominid' or 'human' or 'earth' in their name.  Prince 'Draco' because of course the reptile people originally spoke latin and named themselves for the members of their species we humans are kinda-sorta most familiar with!

Who says they dont?

Just because people assume they have stopped, doesnt mean they have.  Or maybe if they did stop it is because it isnt totally controllable (Just like guineth says, if you are stressed out or whatever, you may not be able to do it, or maybe you get symbols mixed in, or other psychic stuff "Bbleeds" over into it.  Psychic stuff isnt that totally well controlled after all!  Not by most of us anyway.) Anyway, the government is wonderful about playing games IMHO, and them saying they arent doing something could easily mean we are, but dont want you to think we are.......

There are a lot available on Rhapsody, including some of the Hemisync ones that MelanieS mentioned.  I pay for unlimited use, but I think you can get 25 plays per month for free.  Finding guided meditations with the inbuilt search can be a little tricky, since they don't subcategorize that section very well.  But if you have a title in mind you can search for it.
