For me personally, other than the deliberate use of blood to consecrate my runes, I just noticed that my spell work is sluggish when I happen to be menstruating.

It is probably not a big deal. Since my spell work is largely the management and focus of energy, being PMS can be slightly distracting at the edge of my focus. Not my A game.

I don't ascribe any special magical force to my time of the month. I just notice that it influences my mood,( sometimes for the good.)

It's much the same for me. I have zero focus that time of the month, and as for energy, forget it! All I want to do is curl up in bed with the remote and a milkshake.

For me during that time the energy is slower and thicker, but more grounded and more likely to stick. I must be weird because I am more grounded when I do spell work during menstruation.

I am more motivated to go into deep meditation during menstruation, and get more subconcious work done during that time. If I leave that work at an inconvient stopping point, however I get depressed, anxious, or agitated as it still tries to resolve. It ususally clears itself up around the full moon.
