Yikes!
I totally forgot about this - been too busy.  Grin

Mundane Stuff

1. Get my office room cleaned up/sorted out - No progress. Still about 20% of the mess left.
2. Do the papers for the tax and file them and the others -Still the same. Sad
3. Keep at least the living room in a state that allows a surprise visitor in - Yes, succeeded. Smiley

Writing

4. Just do it, woman. (For crying out loud. Get going!) - Keeping up the "Happy Monday" blog post on my writers blog, havent done anything further with the old manuskript... old desktop computer is = frustration. I ponder seriously to spend bucks I do not have on a new one. Did it! Spent a lot of money, got the new computer set up and worked on my platform things. Will be back at writing next week.

5. Read! At least one book in a fortnight. (You used to do that in three days! What happened?) - Okey. This is working out perfectly.

Spirituality

6. One devotional act a day - come one, that is not too much to ask! - Lets not talk about it... I keep my cill shift from now on. So this does count... at least half a point... maybe Wink

6 goals
1 wip, still not finished
1 wip, on hold
1 wip, going well
1 wip, going half ok
1 wip, succeeded
1 wip, in progress

Goals

1. Move to Massachusetts This is. . .half done? All of our stuff is in MA, but we're currently staying with my in-laws in NY.
2. Get a job in Massachusetts Not yet! Help and good thoughts would be very much appreciated, here.
3. Submit a poem for publication somewhere. It's *written,* but has not been submitted anywhere yet. 0.25 done?
4. Figure out what spiritual path I'm supposed to be following, because the Celtic and Hellenic deities I've worked with have sent me the world's sweetest "Honey, I'm not who you need," letters. DONE! I've got something I'm going to stick to at least until the Summer Solstice, and I'm pretty psyched about it!

One out of four. . .maybe 1.5/4. Lucky I have another month?

New goals:
1. Sell at least an average of 4 contract cellphones a week through my job, which will put me above company standards for this store and earn me an extra $50-100 per week that I desperately need.
2. Pass statistics.
3. Write something creative--anything!

1. I've done 3 per week, which is OK and puts me on track with company expectations. I'd have done 5 this week if stupid fracking T-Mobile would answer their sales support line on Sundays, but that's another rant.

2. In progress.

3. Working on it.

In other news, the "pretty new tarot deck" habit has been laid aside in favor of breaking more important habits. So I'm taking the money that I would have spent on cigarettes and spending it on stuff that's actually useful to me, like tarot decks and my cellphone bill.

One goal only, and very specific: Finish writing part 2 of the 3-part myth I've been stuck on forever.

My game plan is to use this thread as my prompt.

I've been avoiding this thread like the plague, out of shame and procrastination.

The good news: I broke my foot last week.

"Good" in that it's derailed my relentless workout regimen a bit, and--with this thread looming over me--I decided to take the opportunity to actually write. So I'm finally making progress, and whether I make my goal or not (there's still time!), at least this thread has got me writing seriously again. So THANKS, everyone!

To sweeten the pot, I'm holding out an Apple TV unit as the reward for completing the goal. (I want to buy one NOW, but I know the ability to stream movies to my TV will be the ultimate goal-killing distraction!)
