But...but...the Monty Python joke was my whole point! *cries*

No, no. Don't cry.

Your response, with a Monty Python line, was fine. That's what I was playing off of. Same movie, different scene is the clue.

Given that they hide behind the First Amendment, I'd say that it's impossible to banish them somewhere.  Although I would personally would like to send them to Antarctica.....without food....and completely naked.....Sometime between June and September.

The First Amendment does not address banishment.  Go for it!

I'm pretty sure Canada blocked them from entering the country.

They didn't, I'm afraid. They were going to protest at the funeral of the young man who was killed on the Greyhound bus a couple of years ago. The confiscated the majority of their protest equipment (signs I believe) and the Winnipeg city hall, plus the police, pretty much told them they were not going to tolerate hate speech at the funeral. I think in the end only a couple of people showed up, also because there was a large group of people who decided to peacefully anti-protest outside the cemetery. So they never really got off what they were trying to do.

We've stopped them coming over here-we have enough issues with 'King Kev'. We don't need any more problems! Wink

The same sort of rhetoric and imagery has been used by various radio personalities and a certain TV network. In other words, this has gone from fringe nuts talking to acceptable conversation amongst political types and talking heads.

There is not now, nor has there been in the last 10-20 years or so, the equivalent on the left. Voices on the left and the right bringing up legitimate points and some of it is controversial. Yes. Taking rhetorical aim using language and imagery best left out of political discourse, that's pretty much the sole purvey of the right.

Chanced across this just now, on the widespread use of disingenuous rhetoric among the right:
