I was going to suggest an avatar mod from SMF that locks out an avatar to other people once it's been picked by a Full Member, but I wasn't sure if anyone else would want it used.

Well, I can see where that might seem a little unfair to the Regular Members.  Since Full Members have almost infinite possibilities for avatars, while Regular Members have a limited set, it would be taking choices away from the Regular Members, in a way.
