Has anyone used a Lil Dipper Crockpot as a potpourri simmerer? I've just gotten a used one from my stepmom, and that's the only thing I can think it would be really useful as. It's just too small for anything else I do.

::raises hand::  Or something similar of a different brand, if not that exact model.  Works fine, just keep an eye on the water level since it'll evaporate slowly.

OK. I thought it might work.

What did you use? A liquid or the real stuff?

Real stuff, floating in water.  I don't know how a liquid would work, but in theory I'd think it should be OK.  After all, the crockpot is just applying a constant low-level heat source, which is the same concept as a more traditional potpourri thingy.
