I just listened to the YouTube and then bought the album All is Wild, All is Silent. It's gorgeous!

Ooh awesome! I love them so much. :') You should check out their other albums too, especially 'Rivers Arms'. Smiley

I'm currently saving to buy a harp. If I could incorporate that into spell working that'd be awesome.

If anyone is looking for some beautiful Celtic harp music, I stumbled on this the other day and really liked it:

Darn iTunes...I just bought Rivers Arms, All is Wild, All is Silent, and Costellations by them.  Itunes just makes it too easy to spend lots of monies!  But they all sound like they are going to be just what I want!

I tend to stick on Balmorhea for ritual/prayer.

I love this.  Thanks for posting.

I am looking for music to help me focus and relax during ritual.

A friend recommended "Immortal Egypt" by Phil Thornton and Hossam Ramzy.  I love it.  It makes me want to take up belly dancing or get back into fire spinning.

It doesn't make me want to ritualize.

It's too bouncy.  I need some really, really soft ambient music with no words.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I've been working with Apollo for the last few months, so I have been using classical music. I found this lovely video of a symphony playing various Beethoven pieces for 85 minutes.

I've had some success with the soundtrack to the film 'Jerome Bixby's a Man from Earth'. It's available on Itunes, I think it might just be a man from earth on itunes. I recommend the movie as well. Unfortunately the production quality is not at all great and it feels more like a play than a movie but the cast is great and the story is very interesting.

Funny I always prefer something more bouncy with lyrics The Pierces You'll be Mine is being used in alot of my ritual work of late. For soft ambient music The Last Samurai's A Way of Life would probably be a good pick.

There is a blog called "Ritualistic Nature" that I really love. It's just post after post of really awesome ritual music.

One of my favorite finds there (and the band that comes to mind for what you are describing) is a band called Karnnos. They have some songs with verse and chanting, but a lot of their stuff is very ambient.

Hope you find what you are looking for!
