I recently bought a Kindle (Tax return ftw!) I love the reader but there's a definite lack of material. I've looked over ancient texts and project Guttenber for PD books but (as we all know) the problem with some of them is that they're fairly old. I don't mind paying for digital books (as long as they don't cost as much as their physical counter parts) but it's pretty difficult to find some of them for these readers.

Anyone have some good recommendations?

Science fiction & fantasy - /  no DRM, about $6 a book, books are released in full e-book format at the same time hard cover comes out.  books are released in chunks starting 2 or 3 months before hardcover if you a minor junkie of an author. for major junkies there are e-ARCs for about $15 released 6 to 8 months BEFORE hard cover. there are also numerous free books on the site. if you are not sure about a book, the 1st third or so is up for free, but I don't think you can download just that third.

what genre's are you looking for?
