Mandrina pointed out that PP will take insurance. That was sort of my point. Once (if) everybody is supposed to have insurance, the insurance would cover that stuff. At that point though, does PP need federal funding (outside of Medicare / aid) to provide services such as Pap, mammorgram?  

No. What that means is those of us who can't AFFORD insurance will have to have subsidies. If Texas finds a way around this, the federal government can fine me until the world looks flat. I will not be able to afford insurance. So the problem isn't going away simply because of the insurance "mandate."

That was my point.

I don't know about the rest of it. All I'm saying is the federal funding to PP is for a hell of a lot more than abortion.
