Daylight Savings Time starts in much of the US at 2am in the morning on Sunday March 13, 2011. That means if yoyu are in most of the US, you will want to set your clocks 1 hour AHEAD before you go to bed tonight. (Spring forward, fall back. <g>)

I've been baffled as to when the changes are since they added three weeks in the spring and one week in the fall to DST in the US a few years ago.

Here in WI we not only set our clocks ahead by an hour, this year we also set our calendars back 50 years. (Credit given to FB friends from all around the country.)

Daylight Savings Time

As disappointed as I am that it's almost noon, I'm looking forward to having enough daylight after work to do stuff! *happy dance*

I sometimes think I'm the only person who loves it.  I can take me dog for walks after work now (weather permitting) and work in the garden until 7:00, things I never have time to do in the morning.

And for all I hate it, I do understand that there are people (such as yourself and FierFlye) for whom it's wonderful.  I'm glad that it does do someone some good, at least.  Smiley  My schedule is just such that the sunlight in the early morning would be more useful to me.  This year I'm extra bitter about it because Friday was the first day I finally saw a bit of sunrise on my morning commute--and now, Monday when I drive to work, I'll be in darkness again and it'll take almost another two months to get back to seeing sunlight again before I go sit in my windowless cube all day.  It just feels cruel, to give me that little glimpse of hope and then snatch it away again.

Then we should just keep it this way then, it's the changing that I hate.

I wouldn't mind it at all, really. I find the switching back most depressing. Somehow daylight savings feels more natural to me.

Ditto. Last night I was reminded harshly when bf asked the time, and I said 3 am -- my laptop automatically changed it. So we changed our clocks and went to sleep, because suddenly we couldn't watch another two episodes of Scrubs.

Grrr. Stupid DST. Cutting into my Scrubs time.
