I have this concern for myself as well. If my house were to ever catch on fire, I'd probably get myself killed making sure my animals are safe. I couldn't leave my animals. They *are* my family.

Ugh, that's one of my biggest fears that rolls around in my head in the night while I'm just lying awake staring at the ceiling... the whole fire/what about my cats thing...
