I went to Ireland with a small tour group back in Sept. On one of our last days there, we stopped at a site south of the Burren, just on the shore, with a ruined castle tower and a holy well. I have no earthly clue who that well is dedicated to in local lore, but I made a prayer to Brigit to get us home safe and sound.
Both our flights home came in early. And when we got back to Baltimore, our luggage had beaten us off the plane and was the only luggage on the conveyor belt at baggage claim at that point. That has NEVER happened to me on any flight I've taken. EVER.
In general, I think much of the well stuff may be hard to quantify because so much of it is local. That well I saw had a cross on it, and lots of offerings inside, but whatever spirit that dwelt there seemed to have no issue either granting my boon or passing it along to Brigit. I know there are a few wells specifically associated with Brigit. I can't remember where they are, besides thinking there's one at Kildare, but I hope to visit them next time we go across the pond (along with visiting Kildare).
