This sounds like an excellent idea. I've very glad to see the discussions on the Pantheacon 2011 issue are now generating light as well as heat.

Thanks. That's pretty much what we want to do with this book. What the plan is, is to incorporate as many traditions into the book as possible so that people can read for themselves what each tradition thinks about gender and transgender. This includes the Dianics, actually (we're in contact with a couple of Dianic leaders hoping that one of them will write something for it). We've sent out specific invites to some of the more visible/well known community leaders, and have some really great essays lined up so far.

I really hope some folks from here will consider contributing, since it looks like a really diverse bunch. Smiley
